I have posted some of the 200+ photos I have from the estate of Billy Gene Bost previously on this forum, but thought I would add this. As a reminder: Billy Gene Bost, (1935 - 1976), RA 18437541, was a resident of Lawton, OK. He enlisted in the Army on Jan. 5, 1953 near the end of the Korean War. He trained with Battery "C" 752nd. AAA Battalion at Oakland, CA. He was shipped to Korea after the cease fire (1954?) and spent almost 16 months there with B Battery 26th AAA Battalion as a AAA Gun Crewman. He was discharged on Jan. 7, 1956. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and Korean Service Ribbon. He died June 8, 1976.

You may have seen these girlfriend portraits before, but in this case I have the original black & white photo (2.5" x 4"), the directions to the artist on the back of the photo, and the finished color painting ( 8" x 10"). The artist did a fair job, but he made the girl's face too wide.
