A news story that doesn't paint collectors as villains...a WWII Marine lent his uniform to neighbor kids for Halloween years ago. When they moved, they forgot to return the uniform. Years later, a collector in Norway bought it on eBay and returned it to the vet...

Great the jacket was actually returned to the vet! Usually you see these kinds of stories where the item is given to a son or grandchild etc! Great of that Norwegian collector to go out of his way to find and return the jacket at his own cost!

Yes...the shipping cost overseas (twice!) alone was certainly not cheap, without what he paid for the jacket.
