Keystone Posted June 4, 2019 Share #2 Posted June 4, 2019 I've never seen a British made canteen. I do have a cup made in Belgium in 1945 and marked U.S. Army. Tim
illinigander Posted June 10, 2019 Share #3 Posted June 10, 2019 Have a typical WW2 canteen cover. Inside one ear is: US - AC - 1944. Under that is stamped: BRITISH MADE. The other ear: Broad Arrow 176. The front has the regular US stamp. On the bottom is stamped: (?) S 4654. Illinigander
General Colt Posted July 6, 2019 Share #4 Posted July 6, 2019 As far as I know the only canteen-related thing the Brits made were canteen covers. The Belgians made canteen cups and mess kits and possibly canteens in 1945.
