on-to-berlin Posted May 27, 2019 Share #1 Posted May 27, 2019 I have bought a 60s era Grouping recently and that boonie came with it. I dot know anything about SOG but the boonie looks like the ones that were worn. I personally think its a repro because how big are the chances that it is a real one. However, it is a tiny size and a real signal panel was used for the lining. So the question is, if there were other forces who used a similar style hat? Spy vs Spy Posted May 27, 2019 Share #5 Posted May 27, 2019 Nice one. CISO made. Green ones doesn’t show up that often as the Black ones. I have one as well in green, mine just don’t have the signal panel. Best M
on-to-berlin Posted May 27, 2019 Author Share #6 Posted May 27, 2019 Wow! I am quite surprised! So what time frame would that be? Is that a specific SOG item? or was it also worn by other units? Please excuse my ignorance but this SOG is not my field of collecting
kammo-man Posted May 27, 2019 Share #7 Posted May 27, 2019 CISO as Martin states. Could be issued to SF units involved with Mike Force Road Runner types. etc.

63 RECON Posted June 1, 2019 Share #9 Posted June 1, 2019 Great stuff, can we see the other bits of the group please?
on-to-berlin Posted June 2, 2019 Author Share #10 Posted June 2, 2019 It was not really a grouping. More a pile of different OG107 items from the 1970s. And I do not think that they belong together in any way.
on-to-berlin Posted June 2, 2019 Author Share #11 Posted June 2, 2019 Several forum members have contacted me if I want to sell the boonie. What is a fair price for this boonie?
