Hall Rifle altered to percussion by South Carolina

Simeon North Hall rifle with South Carolina attributed alteration to percussion. SC State and Federal armories had 666 Hall flintlock rifles on hand before the war with an unknown number converted to percussion for use by Confederate troops.
