Great display Matt! I love the early SF uniform set up. Especially the early double buckle jungle boots and green mountain ruck. I saw a pair of those boots at the Bragg Blvd Flea Market (in NC) once and missed them by a few minutes due to some distractions. I even saw the ruck there but passes on it not knowing what they were going for. Looking forward to seeing more when you get things framed and up on the walls. Take care and have a Happy New Year!I had time to this week start arranging my room and I finally have some mannequins too.

Good stuff, Matt! I'm experiencing deja vu here as I'm sure I've seen some of this stuff before. I still say you should have kept all the 1st SSF stuff you used to have!

Hey, you're the one who tried to get me into the Canadian stuff back in the day, remember? I still have a SSF shoulder cord and backing for the jump badge (both props from the "Devil's Brigade" movie, bought from a movie collector) from back when we talked about doing SSF impressions. I've never had the heart to sell them. I did some Menton Day displays for 1st SF Gp a few years back, and have some certificates and a neat coin to show for it. All that stuff is in a box somewhere. As for Kevin, tell him howdy. I'm still ticked my Battalion CO wasn't willing to release me from my position so I could pursue taking over the Service Detachment position he had with 1st Gp. I often wonder if I'd still be in the Army if that had come to pass…Do not bring that up again or I'll cry !!!
