I'm trying to find who makes the best M1 Abrams in 1/72 scale for each version.

My intent is to build the M1, M1A1, M1A2, M1A2 SEP. M1A2 TUSK. to show the 40 year evolution of the M1 Abrams.

I guess you're going to have to Google it. Good luck & I'll be looking forward to your 40 year evolution.

Yea I've been all over google with this and there does not seem to be any real clear winners overall.

So I guess you tried Dragon, Italeri, Tamiya etc.

Try ebay. You never know what you might find. Good luck.

Okay, I went on ebay.com and I found some models in 1:72 scale which should be right up your alley. It seems that a lot of the Abrams tanks are DIECAST, but these are actual models. Here we go:

Trumpeter #07276 M1A1 Abrams

Italeri #7001 M1 Abrams MBT

Dragon #7213 M1A1 Abrams w/Mine Plough

Tiger Model #9601 M1A2 SEP TUSK

T Model #TK-7310 M1A2 TUSK w/M153 Weapons System.

I hope this helps. Just keep looking, you'll probably find what you want.

I'm not having problems finding the model. I am just trying to find out who makes the best one for each version. Also seems no one manufacturer makes all the versions.
