Old Marine Posted May 10, 2019 Share #1 Posted May 10, 2019 This is a German map case that a GI bought home, it turned up at a flea market a few years ago. There was a hand written tag with the GI's Name and Serial Number still attached to the the case. I found the GI in NARA and he was drafted out of the Pittsburgh PA area and inducted on 10/13/43. So far I haven't found out much else about him. Anyway it's a nice map case and the leather is still in good condition.
