Siamundo Posted April 25, 2019 Share #1 Posted April 25, 2019 Picked this 1967 dated MA-1 up last weekend at the Nashville TMCA show. Unfortunately no name or owner information available. The jacket shows virtually no wear so I wonder if maybe it was made up for a retirement gift or perhaps for a spouse? Of course it could just be a random collection of patches someone had sewn on an old flight jacket as well

phantomfixer Posted April 25, 2019 Share #4 Posted April 25, 2019 impressive array of patches...thinking a vet would have put on a name tag
Siamundo Posted April 25, 2019 Author Share #5 Posted April 25, 2019 Thanks manayunkman and phantomfixer. I too had wondered about the absence of a name tag. That is one of the reasons I speculated this might have been made up for a spouse. Now that I think about it, maybe even for an administrative or civilian secretary and perhaps these were the squadrons she worked with? Just another guess though. I have rolled back the edges of several of the patches to look the underside edge and I feel they are all from the early-mid 60's vintage so maybe nothing that was put together recently.
