Scaler1957 Posted April 21, 2019 Share #1 Posted April 21, 2019 I'm trying to ID these two patches. My dad was in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He was a nose gunner in a B-24 attached to the 15th Air Force. His plane was shot down over Italy on the way back from a mission. Was a POW for 13 months before Patton's army liberated them. These patches were in with some of his uniform stuff. I was wondering if they are part of something he was attached to. Thank you for any assistance. patches Posted April 22, 2019 Share #6 Posted April 22, 2019 Both these patches are unused, the one, the A S T P was a stateside organization, so these two were probably acquired by your Dad, either after the war or before he went overseas, lots of troops during war collected insignia believe it or not, maybe he did too.
