Greetings,

I am working on a circa 1920's-1930's USMC Officer's Dress Blues display and want to know if shooting badges are worn when full size medals are worn or are they just worn with ribbon bars?

Thank you,

Vince

This is not a definitive answer, but I  have a USMC officer's dress blues with very good provenance that has full size medals and no marksmanship badges.

Just ribbon bars.  That era may have been different but have never seen shooting badges and medals.

Just ribbon bars...and even then current regs only require them when directed, otherwise marksmanship badges are optional. I don't wear mine in blues
