Navy Officers Cap Badge Eagle & Shield Gold ?

I thought Eagle and Shield were supposed to be silver and Anchors were Gold?  But this Amico sterling badge is the opposite.  I have to look in books on most Navy insignia so I do not know.  What do I have?  Richard

Richard-

 

Looks to be a standard WW2 vintage device for a garrison cap. The "gold" tinge to the eagle and shield are a result of the patina on it. Your photo of the reverse with the gold anchors and the silver color on the back of the eagle and shield shows the correct and original colors.
