Overlooked MKII Grenade OD Green w/ Plugged Bottom

I have become a true Grenade "Geek" where the color is now my focus. At any rate this is an overlooked and I feel rare MKII Grenade with a plugged bottom, which is only painted OD Green. Almost all plugged MKII's were painted Black, Red, Gray, Yellow and OD Green over each of the other colors.

 

So, I now own one that I wish to show off, because not many of these are in ordnance collections.

 

The paint is about 60% on this one so if anyone out there has a better example I'd be interested in an up-grade.

I have seen a few examples of OD MK2 with fill plugs and it is know that they are out there, the fill plug variant was still being made even after the color change in 1942ish but your right its rare to see these variants in just original OD. I have an example as well. Can you make out the makers mark? I would like to know which manufacturers were still making fill plug bodies at this time.

In the 4th photo I am sure there is a "G" and then perhaps a "2".

 

There are two/three more marks on the opposite side but I can not make them out. It appears that the casting mold had worn out and perhaps was pitted by the time this grenade was manufactured.
