Pip Posted April 8, 2019 Share #1 Posted April 8, 2019 Someone told me to post these in the wings board but I think I put them in the wrong one last time. Trying here . Got these wings with a bunch of military items but trying to determine the maker and age. Thanks for any help!

pfrost Posted April 8, 2019 Share #5 Posted April 8, 2019 They look to be good WWI pilot wings the maker is also very desirable. Rather valuable wings. Last time I saw one of these sold it went well north of $2000

Pip Posted April 8, 2019 Author Share #12 Posted April 8, 2019 Thanks everyone ! There was another case of wings I did not buy so I am sad about that but really happy with the ones I did get. They separated them into sterling and non sterling so I went for the sterling ones.

blind pew Posted April 8, 2019 Share #14 Posted April 8, 2019 Congrats! Very nice pick up. If you do not collect ww1 wings and want to sell, send me a PM..I am sure that there are probably several people on this site that would be interested as well. If you are starting a ww1 wing collection, that is a great place to start! Thanks for posting. Could anyone comment on the relative rarity of this maker, as I (far less experience than most of you) have only seen this maker in my books. Thanks everyone ! cwnorma Posted April 8, 2019 Share #15 Posted April 8, 2019 Could anyone comment on the relative rarity of this maker, as I (far less experience than most of you) have only seen this maker in my books. Roughly the same scarcity category as Tiffany, but without the cachet.
