Hello everyone,

I was out at a flea market today and while bargaining with a dealer over named Desert Storm Army chocolate chip uniform, he threw in this pair of coral creepers.  I don't have much info about these, and was hoping some of the more knowledgeable members could shed some light on these for me.  They have green crepe type soles, which are hard and crispy, and definitely are faded from the original green and one of the laces looks to have been replaced at some point.  I think they may be Vietnam era but I don't know for sure. Any info would be greatly appreciated and i hope you enjoy the photos.

Yes, they are USMC coral shoes. Probably made for Marine Recon. They look to be VN era. I have a pair and the soles are also very hard and brittle. Cool shoes.

Thanks very much for the reply. I had never seen anything like them before. The vendor had a few other Marine Corps items which I think were probably related to these. I will definitely take a closer look next weekend
