cagedfalcon Posted April 6, 2019 Share #1 Posted April 6, 2019 Picked up Tech 5th Grade Edwin V Golien's jacket, garrison cap, sweater, first aid kit & inside the haversack was a magazine pouch & chemical poncho. Uniform has been neatly pinned in a shadow box along with the cap, sweater & discharge card. Son was sure he was on Okinawa. Not able to research until tomorrow. Anyone have info they would care to share? cagedfalcon Posted June 10, 2019 Author Share #7 Posted June 10, 2019 Ok, I am going to rearrange this shadow box. It had been assembled by a family member with a period correct shirt & original accessories. Going to add pack with first aid kit in place of the sweater, properly place the ribbons. Putting sweater inside pack. A few questions. How to clean pack that has been sitting on a garage shelf for years. Just a good brushing? What is the proper placement of the DUI? Would rank have been sewn on sleve? Highest rank tec5 Thank you for your input Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
