Labeled Mess Kit

Now, I'm not sure if this has been shown before, but recently at an antique store I found a mess kit that had an interesting label, most likely what it came with when it was shipped out in its crate, I'm not sure. But I thought it was very interesting. A lot is missing but still somewhat legible.

It's fairly uncommon, but I do come across those with remnants of a label still on them. Not sure when they stopped sticking the label directly to it; because I've found later 60's versions with just a slip of paper inside with some of that info.
