HI Bob,

Here is a link from this forum

http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/103919-wwi-to-wwii-usn-bullion-wings/page-2

This will give you a clue as to age..

I would say ww2.

The link above tells why.

The post on Navy Bullion ww1 to ww2 is pinned at the top of the wings Forum.

This is the place to look for info about your wing, you wont find anywhere else!

Cheers.

Rooster.

Thanks for the comments.

Hi Rooster, I originally looked through that wonderful post, but still wasn't sure of it's age.

The Rooster

Hi BBG,

Yes its the Triangular wire that gives it away as not being Pre ww2 Thanks to Cliffs explanation.

Still real nice and I would assume a Rare bird ? Ive never seen one for sale.

Only been at it a year though. There is something really cool about the Navy/Marine Corps Bullions.

Works of art!

I was into Navy Bullion wings for a couple months. I picked up 6 or 7.

Il have to post them.

Happy Hunting!
