Tesla Posted March 25, 2019 Share #1 Posted March 25, 2019 I received the gunner wing today and after having to wash off the smell of cigarette smoke (ugh), i have been trying to identify the possible maker/ distributor/ reseller. It wasn't until I had it in hand that I realized it was a perfect match to the Orber Observer wing I picked up a few months ago. Is this gunner an Orber wing? 5thwingmarty Posted March 25, 2019 Share #4 Posted March 25, 2019 I think it is an Orber pattern wing. Orber had the four notches on both shoulders, and started with the circular hallmarks but I believe many Orber pattern wings can be found with the straight Sterling mark like this gunner wing. I don't know if the dies exchanged owners or if Orber just changed out the pressing part.
The Rooster Posted March 25, 2019 Share #5 Posted March 25, 2019 No idea but I really like the Orber Observer! I just picked one up with the hallmark wiped out. Does seem to be a real similar stamping Nice wing!
