An otherwise non-descript Camillus M3 with use. White diamond definitely period painted on. Does this indicate 501st PIR and if yes, does it narrow down the time frame?

is it blade marked or guard marked? That would help with production dates.

Thanks, guard marked.  I was really more concerned with verification of the unit emblem and if 44 only.
