Hello all, was fortunate to acquire this nice WW1 Heart from eBay the other day and am hoping that some of my fine friends and fellow Forum members might be able to shed light on the veteran who earned this award. Name is EARL E. LLOYD and he may have been from North Carolina as the seller was in North Carolina.
Thank yall for any help that may be obtained. 08F9F4E3-4330-4982-94AD-B78315CA1F15.jpeg

Here are two options from the Veteran's BIRLS file. Both served in the Army. However, don't know where they are from or if their middle name matches.

Thanks very much my Forum friend. I neglected to put in my post the # on the medal. It’s # 33094, don’t know if that would help.

Forgot to put the number of the medal on my post, its 33094, if that may help to identify the veteran. Thank you all so very much for any help best regards, Tom

The only Earl E Lloyd whos in transport records was from Delaware and was in the Coast Artillery. He spent enough time overseas where he could have been wounded.

Thank you AustinO, that’s a big help. Now I’ll check Delaware records and see what might pop up. Fellow Forum friends like you and stratasfan are what makes this site great.
