M1917 Enfield Rifle parts

Hi fellas,

Wanted to post here about 1917 bolt bodies.

 

Been looking for one possibly?..... NOS? Long shot.. looking on Gun Broker and Ebay. Found one guy on Ebay that is supposedly NOS bolt bodies. Hard to believe that !

 

A friend of mine agreed that they would be in marked packaging and these aren't.

 

I've also been trying to persuade them to measure the locking lugs to give an idea of how far gone they are. The guy selling supposed NOS.... won't measure nothing. He pulled one out of the pack to show it is an Eddystone.

 

 

Any help is appreciated.

Have you checked SARCO? GunParts?( Numrich Arms) 17 bolt bodies used to be Cheap.

I'm not sure if Springfield sporters is still in business but they used to have them new in the wrap when I collected M1917's as well as a couple of fellows that used to set up at the Allentown show etc., when I was stationed out east. I expect bill Ricca probably had them new in the wrap too, but he has recently retired
