I have noticed a few photos and uniforms that have soldiers wearing WWI overseas and wound chevrons in WWII. I came across the photo of a soldier that served in the 197th Coast Artillery and was discharged August 3rd, 1943 for unknown reasons. He passed away in 1946 so I assume he may have gotten some type of sickness. I have seen a couple of other uniforms on the forum with WWI bars, if you have a uniform or picture of a soldier that served only in WWII wearing WWI bars feel free to post.
