Kadet Posted March 2, 2019 Share #1 Posted March 2, 2019 I feel this wing is German-made based on the construction but am not sure. Nor am I sure what unit it is meant to represent, but it may be the 508th PIR. I've never seen another one quite like it. Difficult to discern because of the dark color, but it is machine stitched to the jacket in the same thread as the patches and has a black braid hand stitched around the outside perimeter. It reminds of SS insignia, and even has the card "unterlagen" under the bullion around the outside. The patches are 82nd combat unit and 17th on the other shoulder. Thoughts appreciated!
