BEAST Posted December 19, 2008 Share #1 Posted December 19, 2008 Although not designed for Disney, this game shows the creativity of the Disney artists. Created by Disney animators Bill Melendez and Hawley Pratt during the cartoonists strike in 1941, this game was played with by Melendez' sons through the 1950s. disneydave Posted December 19, 2008 Share #3 Posted December 19, 2008 Melendez didn't return to Disney's after the infamous strike. He later went on to form his own production company, which most famous for helping to produce "A Charlie Brown Christmas." He just passed away this year. Very cool post - reminds me of the Axis and Allies War At Sea game.
