Looks like he went to Cuba in 1912. no medal with the group

Then Panama

Nicaragua later in 1912 medal 457

sharpshooter designation in March of 1913

Mexico in 1914 medal number 664

Haiti in 1915-1916 and participated in skirmishes medal 3314 oddly enough it's a navy medal

He made Sgt IN 1916 and was reduced to Private on at least one occasion then made it back to Sargent, it's hard to follow as he was 1st Sargent, gunnery Sargent etc...

became a recruiter late 1918

Awesome group!!!! The Navy 1915 Haitian Campaign was awarded to Marines, as there wasn't a USMC version of the medal. I believe the block started at #2,500, with a select few officers receiving lower numbers.

The Bottom Left Corner has a pin, that looks like a Boy Scout Tenderfoot pin. Is that what it is? I can't quite be sure. The BSA was founded in 1910, so that might be a very early pin...
