CQ Diary, 1943

I picked this up many years ago, why? Because I buy oddball stuff sometimes! The CQ (Charge of Quarters) Diary was a running log kept at the desk of the barracks or in this case, the Hotel, so if a soldier was away, it would be noted where he had gone to, the time and when he returned he would sign back in. The binder is a wartime example with a wooden spine and the rings (usually metal) are plastic. The only metal is two small rivets to hold the spine to the cover. The LORD TARLETON HOTEL was in Miami Beach, a nice hotel, with an interesting design as every room was a corner room. Apparently closed in the 1960s.

I do not know what PPS # 4 means. The pages remaining in it are all blank.

Thanks for looking,

BKW
