Steindaddie Posted January 30, 2019 Share #3 Posted January 30, 2019 Detachment 2 of the 608th Aircraft Control & Warning Squadron, Korean War era. They were located on Chodo Island off the North Korean coast and tracked MiGs taking off from Chinese bases along the Yalu. Known as the "Eyes and Ears of MiG Alley", they closed shop a few years after the war ended. Interestingly, Chodo Island was handed to North Korea in accordance with the armistice agreement of 1953. Nice patch!

Nice patch! Cool patch and great ID. I like the ‘UN’ wreath & 38th parallel.
