john k Posted January 16, 2019 Share #4 Posted January 16, 2019 At least the liner is a Euroclone, German I think. The shell could be recycled US.

Theriddler Posted January 17, 2019 Share #10 Posted January 17, 2019 As mentioned before the liner is European but the shell could be US. I’ve come across several helmets with a mixture of US shells and Euro liners. Is there a number stamped into the helmet in the inside of the steel shell at the front? Can you post a picture of where the swivel bales are attached to the helmet shell?

byf41 Posted January 19, 2019 Author Share #14 Posted January 19, 2019 What would be the approximate time frame for this helmet ?
Cap Camouflage Pattern I Posted January 19, 2019 Share #15 Posted January 19, 2019 Shell was made by Heinrich Ulbricht's Witwe, in Schwanenstadt Austria in 1971. Liner is a similar time period, can't tell who made it. Edit: I should point out many European nations used Austrian U-SCH helmets just a few are Austria, Norway, and Denmark.
