USMC White Web Coat Belt

The USMC Uniform Regulations say that the "white military police belt" may be for wear by musicians while performing in Blue Dress "C/D" uniforms, but nowhere else in the manual is there a description of the white military police belt, only other references such as "Belt, military police, cotton webbing."

 

Is it simply the white web coat belt worn by enlisted Marines with the Dress Blues/Blue-Whites?

What time frame are you talking about?.During the 1930’s and earlier they wore a buff leather belt whitened. In WWII, it was common to see a white belt made of linoleum/vinyl. Cotton web white belt came out late WWII and post. The ega on it denotes NCO (at least it did back then, I am not very familiar with post WWII dress). Kevin

I'm referring to current regulations. What I really need to know isn't so much who wears a white web coat belt, but whether or not the SAME belt is being worn by enlisted Marines with the Dress Blue / Blue-White Dress, Band members, military police, etc....The uniform manual doesn't give the width of the white coat belt like it does for the khaki web belt (1-1/4"), and it doesn't have any images of MPs wearing the white coat belt for comparison.
