New guy from S. FL. I am a retired high school science teacher of 43 years. Originally from NJ, but have lived in S. FL for the past 30 years. I am an avid target shooter and shoot with The Sportsman's Gun Club of Florida. When I was in NJ I shot for the Northern NJ Police Revolver League.
As long as I can remember, both my brother and I were interested in military stuff and history. My father would stop at the local Army and Navy store and bring us patches. We had so many i can't remember them all. After he passed away i became the owner of 3 bladed weapons that were coveted by me. They were in his closet and I would sneak in and play with them.
One is a WWI Mauser bayonet, the other a WWI medic bolo and one that I cannot identify. I will post some pics of all of them and maybe a forum member can help me identify the one with a very long curved blade, has a forward curved hilt and a bayonet lock. I believe it may be Japanese, but I could very well be wrong.
I hope to learn a lot from you all.
