Has anyone ever heard of this hallmark ? Its a standard looking ww2 navy wing

 

It looks like 1/10 12kt RGP

USC

 

Uniform Service Company? W.A.guess ?

Ha!! I found the answer right here on the forum.

 

manufacturer that used the hallmark URISCRAFT and also USC for URIS Sales Corp. They were located in New York City and made sweetheart pins and some military insignia during WWII.

No way of knowing if it is WWII or later, but a very cool wing.

If I had seen it, I would have bid.

Who ever got it, nice pick up.

I picked this up. Dont have it in hand but its on the way. I have the box to go with it. Red box.

 

Ive found examples of uriscraft Paratrooper badges and other badges by uriscraft...

Just I've never seen a wing with this hallmark. So I snagged it.

Seems rather on the rare side as hallmarked navy wings go.

More of a question ? Than a statement.

Because I really have no idea. Just seems that way to me.
