Vincennes Posted January 13, 2019 Share #1 Posted January 13, 2019 Today at the flea market I bought a collection of over 200 photo belonging to Billy Gene Bost along with several documents, a autographed Thanksgiving Menu and other items. All these photos are of military nature, in training in the US and (most) in Korea. Billy Gene Bost, (1935 - 1976), RA 18437541, was a resident of Lawton, OK. He enlisted in the Army on Jan. 5, 1953 near the end of the Korean War. He trained with Battery "C" 752nd. AAA Battalion aat Oakland, CA. He was shipped to Korea after the cease fire and spent almost 16 months there with B Battery 26th AAA Battalion as a AAA Gun Crewman. He was discharged on Jan. 7, 1956. He was awarded the National Defence Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and Korean Service Ribbon. I have picked out a few of the photo to display. Most interesting is the drone(?) on the transport during a review. None of the photos are identified. Paul

Vincennes Posted January 13, 2019 Author Share #3 Posted January 13, 2019 I think the drone in the first picture is the Radioplane OQ-19D (KD-2R3) Target Drone. Paul
