I have been digging through boxes and finding stuff I forgot I had.  Here is what looks to me to be a local made Iraqi flag with painted on arabic lettering.  This thing is pretty big at 4.6 ft x 6.9 ft.  I took this off an Iraqi objective which was just south Kifri on the Green Line in 2003.  I was with a peshmerga fermunda  from the PUK. I had to "smuggle" this back as at that time you could bring nothing back.  I also had about three of the fedayeen darth vader helmets but had to leave those on a pallet.

Another great item.  I feel your pain on what you couldn't bring back.

That is another beauty. Looks like it was tied on all four corners. Was it suspended between two posts or something? Would love to hear more about how you found it. Thanks for sharing.
