Grant Bias Posted January 7, 2019 Share #1 Posted January 7, 2019 I thought I would start a thread to show some original numbered collar brass from WW2 Airborne units. Other members can add to the thread and show other examples as well. Would like to see both gothic and blocked numbered examples. All of the original wartime examples that I have encountered or seen in veterans hands have all had the numbers attached to the front of the bar. I didn't know this and while photographing this group I noticed the 9 over M 1950s era hallmark on the 516th PIR brass that proves your findings. Wish I had know this 30 years ago.
