I have been browsing this site on and off since I stumbled across it in 2016 while looking for information on the Mil-K 818 pocket knife. I can already tell that the amount of collective wisdom on this site is amazing! My primary interest is military aviation, survival gear, and knives, especially pocket knives and multitools. While I don't have a large collection (or the budget for one!), I have already secured two MIL-K 818's and I have a few other bits of U.S. gear. I'm a mechanical engineer (2017 OU grad), so I admire and appreciate well-made equipment and I try to find gear that is still useable. I also enjoy building model aircraft and vessels, although I haven't built any in several years. Anyway, I decided that it was time for me to jump into the U.S. Militaria pool.
