aerialbridge Posted December 24, 2018 Share #80 Posted December 24, 2018 What an accomplished and good life even among the "Greatest Generation". His life reads like the "World's Most Interesting Man" from the Dos Equis commercials-- except that it was real. He must have known Nixon well from the Pepsico connection, which likely put him together with Kissinger when China was opening up during Nixon's first term. SEABEE SON Posted December 24, 2018 Author Share #81 Posted December 24, 2018 The interview also included some of his postwar adventures in China and elsewhere, and his souvenirs also include tidbits from Red China in the seventies. There’s a lot more to his story, of course. He lived to be 90 and had a full life, to be sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
