Would a 1939 m1924 dog tag have USAAC for the AirCorps instead of USA for Army?

OK . . . I am going to get a tag stamped, but am hoping some dog tag experts can help. On an m1924 style dog tag . . . instead of USA for the Army, would it be stamped USAAC for a guy in the Air Corps? If anyone has an M1924 dog tag that was issued around 1939, I would love to see pics of the stamping!
