Hello All!

I am seeking some paper groupings from Lt. Charles Russell Garis, an U.S. Army Officer who was killed in action in Europe in 1945. The paper groupings were previously posted on this forum back in 2008 and can be found here. I understand that these groupings were sold to a fellow member of this forum, although I am not sure who.

Lt. Garis is grandmother's cousin. It was really great to see these important documents survive the test of time. My grandmother is 87-years-old (88 in January, I believe), and still has fond memories of her cousin, including the day on which she learned of his demise in Europe. She lives only a few miles away from Lt. Garis' home town of Emlenton, PA.

Does anyone have these paper groupings or anything else belonging to Lt. Garis? If so, would you be open to returning them to my family? Of course, I would be more than happy to pay their fair market value and postage. It would mean the world to my family.

Please feel free to shoot me an e-mail ([email protected]) to discuss. I thank everyone in advance for their consideration.

Best regards,

Colin
