268th C.A. Posted December 7, 2018 Share #1 Posted December 7, 2018 I had the honor to attend Albert Utley Kane's furneal today in Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. His was interned in the Punch Bowl as an unknown sailor from the USS Oklahoma. He was matched through DNA and positively Identified. Fittingly he was reinterned today 7 Dec 2018 with long over due closure. He was 26 years old. Now he would be 102. For ever 26 and eternally young. His life was sacrificed for our freedom. I consider it a real patriotic honor to attend his service. To finally lay to rest a WWII Sailor from a day that will live in infamy. He perished long before any of us were born. His soul is long gone, but his body now rest at home. A Fort Worth native. God Bless All who perished that day or lived through it. "Remember Pearl Harbor" Rest in Peace Albert U. Kane.
