I recently obtained this field jacket at an estate sale.  The patches and name tape caught my eye.  I believe the 7th Logistical Command Patch and name tape are Korean made. The veteran was with the 319th Glider Field Artillery during WWII.  The veteran is mentioned in the book Battery written by Joseph S. Covais.

Great find, jacket will be one worn after 1959, 7th Log Cmd activated in 1959 and assigned to South Korea, of note, he hasn't upgraded his chevrons to the new Yellow on Army green chevrons that came out in 1958.
