Asking for Book suggestion - Pointe du Hoc D-Day

What I am seeking is THE definitive comprehensive book (or books), first-hand battle and/or command biographical experience, of the Rangers' assault on that promontory at Pointe du Hoc beginning D-Day - June 1944.

Having done my due diligence, the search yielded 2,370,000 results within 0.58 seconds.

Not having been in the US Army or Navy, during that nor at any other time, needless to say, a US military history enthusiast (which I have been for 66 years) nevertheless naturally wishes to narrow the choices down considerably.

My beloved alma pater Air Force played a role bombing the landscape to smithereens in the hours leading up to the assault, of course. So, that is of tangential interest as well.

Any suggestions, please?

The boys of dog company is the best book. First hand account of scaling the cliff. Pretty sure that's the name. Google it
