Wondered if anyone could help me decipher this real photo post card.

It is postmarked 1911 although the front of the photo has a date of 1909. The photo depicting quite a get together of a dance but where I do not know. The postmark was Cambridge MA, possibly Harvard or Radcliffe but I can not confirm this.

The photo was sent to ' Mrs. John K. Brown c/o 2nd US Army Malabong / Malabony Philippine Islands '.

So my question is - what group could she have been refers to as ' 2nd USA Army ' and where were they stationed in the PI? I think ' Malabong / Malabony may be Malabon, PI but the writer was confused about the name.

Also, a long shot, anyone have access to a web site where ' John K. Brown ' might be able to be researched?

thanks!
