rldarmstr Posted November 10, 2018 Share #1 Posted November 10, 2018 There's a T13 Beano on eBay. Starting price is $4500. Wish I had more than one at that price. The seller does say Or Best Offer. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=beano+grenade&_sacat=0 Isn't the Capitalistic market place great? Charlie Flick Posted November 10, 2018 Share #5 Posted November 10, 2018 Starting price is $4500. An added bonus: the seller is offering free shipping and "handling", whatever that is. Nonetheless, it does look like a very nice example. The Beanos are very scarce. Kinda surprised that the Ebay Polizei have not found a reason to bounce that listing. TheMariner Posted November 10, 2018 Share #6 Posted November 10, 2018 For those of us that dont know as much about ordnance what exactly is a Beano I have never even heard of one?
crotalus358 Posted November 10, 2018 Share #7 Posted November 10, 2018 The Beano, official designation T-13, is a fragmentation grenade that was developed for use by the OSS. A scarce piece to find, especially in the condition shown on eBay.
ccyooper Posted November 11, 2018 Share #8 Posted November 11, 2018 Its been out there a long time. I think if I recall correctly it originally was listed around $6500 and over the last couple of months he has been gradually lowering the price. Eventually it will sell. sundance Posted November 11, 2018 Share #9 Posted November 11, 2018 Didn't these have a serious problem with premature detonation. I know they were made by Eastman Kodak. Were there any other makers.
rldarmstr Posted November 12, 2018 Author Share #10 Posted November 12, 2018 It doesn't show or doesn't have all the internals, also.
colt thompson Posted November 13, 2018 Share #11 Posted November 13, 2018 What is the current value of s T-13? I have several and will be selling at least one. Is $2000 market for a nice example?
rldarmstr Posted November 14, 2018 Author Share #12 Posted November 14, 2018 last one I sold for $450 I think. Prices are vastly over rated for T13's
