(MC) He was attached with the marine raiders Raider unit : 1hq He was awarded the silver star twice while with the raiders. His official citations aren’t on the valor site and it’s gonna be a long wait for his file I’m sure. These tags were most likely worn by him while he performed the actions that put him up for those citations. The tags are dated just a few months before both actions occurred. Here is a some interesting info I found on him.
