I seen this tag on eBay and did a little research and found that he was in a 1943 roster for Co. B 38th Armored Infantry Battalion, 7th Armored Division. I have read some of the other pages in the 7th Armored Division website and havent found anything else. I dont know if he stayed with the 38th or was transferred. Im hoping to get his records. If anyone has any other information that would be greatly appreciated.

Nice tag. Its crazy, I have a KIA Bulge 38th AIB tag and the tetanus dates are identical to yours where they are typed on top of each other.

I would love to see it . Is it posted and were you able to dig anything up about him on the 7th Armored Division website.

It is on my website. US Army WWII page 2

Wow the tetanus dates are the same and they enlisted 18 days apart. And it looks like the chain holes in both tags are in the shape of a tear drop.

I was lucky enough to get some records and found out he was wounded in March 1945 and was discharged from a Convalescent Hospital at Camp Atterbury, Indiana in September 1945.
