I posted about this purchase last month. I recently got it back from the framer so I consider my journey complete.

Where we as collectors often fall short is not going the next step so that the piece can be protected, enjoyed daily and in short make you smile each time you see it. Well done but keep it out of sunlight!

Great job and it looks awesome! Did you use low UV preservation glass? If not, keep it out of direct sunlight or even rooms where heavy sunlight is present.

I used no-glare, UV protected museum acrylic.

Looks great! Thanks for sharing. I like the blue border around the letter, makes it stand out better. Good that you went with the UV glass, it's well worth the extra few bucks for something like this.

Thank you. The blue was actually meant to resemble the light blue color for "freedom" at the top of the SHAEF patch.
