easterneagle87 Posted October 31, 2018 Share #1 Posted October 31, 2018 On a recent trip back "home" to my parents place, my mom pulls out a scrap book to "show me something" In a scrap book are several photos of THE ONE and ONLY, Audie Murphy. Now, I knew of these pictures, but didn't think he was in them. She tells me he is! Sure as $ l-l ! T, there he is! My mom grew up in Yakima, WA and had a friends mom who worked for the airlines. The mom met Audie and got some sort of a pass to go out to the Yakima Firing Range (Or Yak - i - vegas to those who ever spent time out there - me included), where and when they were filming, "To Hell and Back". The mom took her daughter and my mom out to the range and onto the set. I of course called "dibs" on the scrap book, when she's ready to down size the house. I will also get: the autograph she got from him and the school day pass she had to get to cut school. Mom's only regret was, "Now, why did I get a photo with him when we were there?" It turns out they were the only visitors that day. I look forward to getting this!

mjerickson Posted October 31, 2018 Share #6 Posted October 31, 2018 From the mud caked helmet, looks like the photo was taken while they were filming the muddy farm house scene.
