rfahendo Posted October 30, 2018 Share #1 Posted October 30, 2018 Hello everyone, I have been a collector of military insignia for about 40 years, but for the last 25 or so have been concentrating on British campaign medals to the Royal Artillery. I has only been recently that I have started re-looking US insignia. I have specifically been interested in WW2 insignia to the US Navy. It has been a lot of fun looking for the multiple makers and variations on these insignia. Some of my favorites are the small officer cap badges and Navy Combat Aircrew wings. Why Navy insignia? I have no idea. After retiring from the Army Reserve after 30 years something more land-force based seems in order, but I could not find anything that was as interesting.
