m14msgt Posted October 20, 2018 Share #1 Posted October 20, 2018 A buddy of mine got ahold of a surrender leaflet the US disbursed after the Hiroshima bombing. It’s in Japanese with a picture of a B-29 the wasted city of Hiroshima and Truman. Any idea what it’s worth? Brian Keith Posted October 21, 2018 Share #2 Posted October 21, 2018 Interesting, would be good to see a photo of the front and back and the give the size. I understand leaflets were dropped prior to the bombing, telling people to leave the cities. BKW

Herbf Posted November 18, 2018 Share #4 Posted November 18, 2018 That is probably the newspaper. The warning leaflets only showed the B-29s. There was a newspaper leaflet after the bombing that showed the mushroom cloud and Truman talking about the bomb that we had. The Japs were trying to say that we were making it up and it was not an atomic bomb so we showed them.
